Not so blank canvas

Not so blank canvas

Opps. I recall making the statement that I was back and refueled to blog in the new year. Well, I think I said that too soon. It is 100% true that I am excited to keep blogging and sharing and exploring but I may have over estimated the time I have to do such things. I have been asked to do the scenic design for 2 more shows (other than the one that opens tomorrow night!) which, although flattering, has kept me scrambling to balance all my responsibilities and my dear blog got the short end of the stick. What I do still have time for, in between meetings and tech rehearsals, is some online window shopping. Of course. And I am super pleased to announce I have a new brand crush;  Canvas! Its preppy, casual, vintage and bright all at the same time. Right up my alley that's for sure. And most importantly, I think that their styles are attainable, flatter many figures and manage to be young without looking cheap. Their prices are pretty average with some signature pieces getting up there. Although, when you consider the materials and that you actually get the full length of a skirt, I'd say Canvas falls on the reasonable side. Plus with the huge sale going one right now, their stuff is downright affordable!

Lets peruse shall we?

You may be surprised to learn that this fresh Canvas is a new branch of Lands End. Yes, Lands End. I know, I am impressed too.

So my crush is certainly solidified. In fact, I plan on snatching up this skirt before the sale is over. What do you think? A good surprise right? Pretty excited to see what they bring out for spring!
